Some quotes from zooomr’s Kristopher Tate regarding flickr’s new geo tagging feature:

Ummm, sorry, flickr stepping up to zooomr’s mark? Perhaps he should try using his site. Its slow and ugly. Flickr is one of the best, if not the best, user interfaces on the web. Zooomr on the other hand needs a designer urgently!

That said zooomr does have some nice features, but most of them are not going to appeal to the mass market. To do that you need to get the interface just right. I actually think that there is still lots of room for improvement for flickr. Can anyone replicate the Picassa interface on the web?
